Create A Guide

To get started, log into your Connect & Stay account you just created.  Select guides from the main menu and create a new guide. Simply name it to get started.

TIP: You have the option to create multiple guides at no extra cost. Eg. You have properties in various locations, you can create a guide for each location and allocate properties accordingly.

Create Guides Categories

You can customise the tiles or categories in your Guide. Each new Guide begins with 6 standard tiles, plus a unique ‘Your Holiday Home’ tile for each property.

Upload a Featured Image for each tile, edit the content and name as needed, and add descriptions for more information.

Create new categories simply by clicking the new category button.

MAP FEATURE: You can add a Google Place to your guide and it will populate on your map category you created so you can easily help people find specific locations, restaurants, attractions and more. It will grab the data from Google with updated hours, reviews and a website link. Learn how to add places.

Add a Hotel / Resort (if applicable)

If you are a Resort or Hotel, add your company here which will ensure all properties attached to this Guide will all have the same location.

Once created, when you upload your Apartments, you in the ‘Properties’ section, you can attach them to your Resort / Hotel. This saves you from having to repeat the same address with each ‘property.’

Add your Properties

Go to properties and add a new property. Enter a tagline to identify the property and the address.

Once created, you can add specific details about the property such as WiFi network information, and manage property images.

Attach Properties To A Guide

To attach your properties to a guide, go to the “Guides” section, select your desired guide, and select the house icon (bulk/add remove properties.)

Once you select a property from the list, simply click the plus icon to add it to the guide. This allows you to maintain specific property information while accessing all the template guide details (e.g., restaurants).

Share Your Digital Compendium

After including your property in the guide, find it under “Included Properties” with relevant icons.

For the QR code: Click the QR code icon to reach the QR display page. Print or copy the QR code directly from there, or utilise our customisable Canva Templates. Display the printed guide in the room/house for guest convenience.

For the Link: Click the copy icon to copy the guest guide link for that specific property. Share this link with guests before their stay, include it in your Airbnb or other listing portals, or add it to the welcome letter.

Adding Promotion Button

To add a promotion button, go to the “Guides” section, select the desired guide, and click the fourth button labelled “Promotion Button.” You can then enter the button text, add a link, and customize the background and text colours.

To change the Wi-Fi banner color, follow the same steps: select the guide, click the promotion button, and adjust the background and text colors, as the Wi-Fi banner shares the same color settings as the promotion button.
